Native Shoreline Workshop

Sunday, August 16, 2020

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Location: Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams, 200 Seminary Dr, Winona Lake, Indiana 46590

Native plants are extremely important for local wildlife and for water quality. This workshop, led by Mike VanLaeken of Heartland Restoration, will discuss when and how to utilize native plants on shorelines to reduce erosion, provide habitat for fish and wildlife, and create a beautiful backdrop to your lake view.

You will also be given the opportunity to look at an aerial view of your own property during the workshop as Mike guides you through the process of planning and implementing a shoreline project!
