Expedition: Forest Ecology Lab

Together with Dr. Bosch and his General Ecology class, you will explore the forests surrounding the Lilly Center with your eyes to the sky. Dr. Bosch will lead you through lowland and upland forests, helping you identify the different species of maple, oak, and other tree species. During this lab, you will also observe General Ecology students demonstrate field research.

This lab meets in the Lilly Center lobby. Please come prepared with proper foot gear and water as there will be rough terrain and no sitting options! This lab will take place rain or shine.

Middle school students and older are welcome to join.

This event is underwritten by the Zimmer Biomet Foundation.
