K-12 Program Guide
Outdoor or outdoor - which program fits the needs of your students?
The Lilly Center’s K-12 programs aspire to a high goal: develop water literacy in the children who will eventually lead our community.
Students who engage with one or several of our programs leave with a deeper understanding of and appreciation for local water resources, as well as the benefits of caring for them on their own. Here are just a few things they learn:
- How water changes land over time and how land changes the water, too
- Why wetlands and aquifers are important
- The lifecycles and habitats of aquatic and semi-aquatic animals
