Aquatic Plant ID Workshop

Have you ever wondered what’s growing beneath the surface of your lake? Perhaps you know what plants are there, but want to be able to better identify them on your own. If either of those are true, join Alex Hall from the Lilly Center and Jim Donahoe from Aquatic Weed Control as we discuss a variety of aquatic plants common in our lakes.  If you were able to attend The Watershed Foundation’s “Weeds in Our Lakes” presentation as part of the Smithsonian Water/Ways exhibit, this will be a great follow up to that session!

This workshop will be hands-on and interactive. You will get to sample and identify aquatic plants. Come prepared to ask questions, too!

This event is underwritten by City of Warsaw Stormwater Utility and Silveus Insurance. Additional support provided by Winona Lake Preservation Association and Lake Tippecanoe Property Owners.

This workshop is intended for community and lake residents, as well as lake association members and related businesses with an interest in our lakes.

No RSVP is required! Just grab a friend and show up.
