Behind the Scenes: KC Recycling Depot Tour

Spring is right around the corner, and so is spring cleaning! Join us as we get a close-up view of recycling and processing operations at the KC Recycling Depot. You will learn about the items they accept and helpful tips for cleaning out your home or garage this year. Leslie Williams, Kosciusko County Solid Waste Management District’s Education, Outreach, and Marketing Coordinator, will lead multiple tours of 5-8 people through the warehouse, each tour lasting 15-20 minutes. Tours will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m.

After getting an up-close experience of operations, your group will have a chance to make an art project with reused paint to take home. The Lilly Center and the KC Recycling Depot are dedicated to reducing waste and keeping Kosciusko County’s waters clean by properly disposing of hazardous household waste.

You will be one of the first participants to take the tour and receive a voucher to use at the recycling depot!
