Expedition: Prairie Ecology Lab

Together with Dr. Bosch and his General Ecology class, you will explore the prairie located on Grace College campus. Dr. Bosch will lead you through identifying 10-15 prairie species and how to distinguish between native and non-native species. Guest speaker, Nate Simons from Blue Heron Ministries, will discuss why prairies are important to Indiana.

This lab meets in the Lilly Center lobby. Please come prepared with proper foot gear and water as there will be rough terrain and no sitting options! This lab will take place rain or shine.

Middle school students and older are welcome to join.

This event is underwritten by the Zimmer Biomet Foundation.
