Native Green Spaces in Public Places

Brad Clayton, education and marketing manager at Clayton Garden Center in North Webster, joins the Lilly Center for a pre-work day learning opportunity. This event is for anyone curious about the benefits about native plants, especially for use in public spaces, including school
properties, parks and shorelines.

After you leave, you’ll know:

  • How native species differ from other plant species
  • How natives benefit public areas & land use considerations
  • How to incorporate natives into existing areas

Attendees will receive breakfast and a tour of the Lilly Center’s landscaping.

Spots are limited. Sign up soon!

Native Green Spaces is hosted in partnership with the Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce and Clayton Garden Center. The workshop is generously sponsored by Lakeland Pier & Lift and underwritten by City of Warsaw Stormwater Utility and Silveus Insurance.

Email Sarah Baier at baiersr@grace.edu with the number of individuals attending.
