Expedition: Birding Basics

Join us for an exciting adventure as we explore Pisgah Marsh in search of birds! Led by Nathaniel Wise, a former Lilly Center intern and lifelong birding enthusiast, this event promises to be both informative and enjoyable. Participants will have the opportunity to view native birds such as Sandhill Cranes, Wild Turkeys, ducks, dabblers, Ring-necked Ducks, Lesser Scaup, herons, and grebes—just to name a few!

We ask that attendees bring their own binoculars, as we have a limited supply available. Snacks, including granola bars and water, will be provided, along with an Indiana Birds Pocket Naturalist Guide. Come ready for a day of birdwatching and learning!

This event is underwritten by Zimmer Biomet and DePuy Synthes.
