Critter Encounter: Snake

Looking for sssomething to do thisss sssummer?

Join us at the Lilly Center for self-led, hands-on activities that teach participants all about slithery serpents found in Kosciusko County. There will be crafts, snacks, and a scavenger hunt to fill your morning with fun! We will also have a story read by Duane Herendeen, a guest from the Warsaw Community Public Library. For those those who want a closer look at snakes in a safe environment, Kevin Fouts, a local snake expert, will have his own snakes out on display. He will be discussing the importance of snakes for our ecosystem and why these creatures are often misunderstood.

Whether you already enjoy these legless reptiles or are trying to face a phobia, this event will be a great opportunity to learn more about snakes!

This event is underwritten by City of Warsaw Stormwater Utility, DePuy Synthes, and Zimmer Biomet Foundation.
