Expedition: Family Fishing Day

Calling all new and pro anglers! On Saturday, April 13th, join David Hamerick, from 10 -11:30 am at Pike Lake Beach Pier to learn all about fishing! Hamerick is a seasoned volunteer at the Lilly Center for Lakes and Streams as well as an avid fisherman and boat captain. We are also offering free fishing licenses for the first 30 Indiana residents who attend the event! (License valid through April 1st – March 31st, 2025) There will be a limited number of fishing poles; feel free to bring your own! Bait will be supplied by the Lilly Center. Other fish-related games will be provided plus snacks!

*This description previously said that the first 30 residents to register would receive a licence. In fact, the first 30 attendees to arrive will receive a free fishing license. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

This event is underwritten by the Zimmer Biomet Foundation.
