Expedition: Summer Wildflower ID Hike

Throw on a pair of sturdy walking shoes and join us for a walk through the beautiful Bock Nature Preserve. This collaboration with ACRES Land Trust allows you to visit Bock’s prairie which is normally closed to visitors.

Bring your camera or binoculars to observe native flowers and wildlife.

Your guide is Gavin King, a stewardship assistant for ACRES Land Trust as well as the caretaker for Wild Wood Nature Preserve. As ACRES field staff, Gavin does everything from invasive species management to installing new parking lots. Before ACRES, Gavin worked as an interpretive naturalist for the Indiana DNR and still loves to lead events and educate the community.

This event is free and light supper is provided so register today!

This event is underwritten by the Zimmer Biomet Foundation.
