Expedition: Wildflower ID Hike
Hello Spring! What better way to celebrate this season than by joining the Lilly Center for a wildflower identification hike! On Saturday, May 18, from 10-11:30 a.m., you can enjoy a hike on the beautiful trails at Wildwood Acres Land Trust. The hike will be guided by Gavin King, stewardship assistant for ACRES Land Trust, where attendees will learn helpful tips to identify wildflowers and plants, as well as other information. The group will stay on easy trails with minimal hills, so comfortable footwear is recommended as there will be lots of walking. (Closed-toed shoes are best!) The Lilly Center will provide trail snacks and identification books to borrow during the hike as well as the Indiana Trees & Wildflowers Pocket Guide to take home with you!
This event is underwritten by the Zimmer Biomet Foundation.
