Homeschool Environmental Exploration Days: Wacky Wetlands
Calling all wetland scientists!
The Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams is pleased to offer a “Wacky Wetlands” field trip experience for homeschooling families on Wednesday, October 14th from 9:15 to 11:30 am. This Homeschool Environmental Exploration Day will consist of three stations led by Lilly Center staff and interns, aimed at participating students aged 9 to 14 years old. Students will hike to and learn about a wetland ecosystem, play a high-energy game, and perform a hands-on, real-life simulating wetlands experiment as they discover the value of Kosciusko County’s wetlands and why they should be kept clean!
