Women Growing Their Futures

Are you looking for mentorship opportunities, or do you have experience mentoring other women who are interested in gardening and farming? The Lilly Center is partnering with Purdue KC Extension Office to bring women of all ages together for brunch to find guidance and have inspiring conversations to grow their own gardens or fields.

Join like-minded women that share a passion for homesteading, farming, and sustainable living, or maybe simply want to learn more about how to make the first dig.

Women may be continuing their family traditions or creating new traditions to pass down, but the wave of interest the younger generation has in agriculture and horticulture has grown alongside their gardens. Women and students are passionate about keeping their hands in the soil to grow their futures.

Educating and building relationships with other women in the agricultural and horticulture community provides unique opportunities to empower and educate a rising generation of ladies who are the next leaders in the gardening and farming movement. We must grow our relationships together and nurture the impact women have on the community, whether through a farm business, personal garden, or simply caring for the earth.

Fruit, muffins, pastries, and coffee are provided so register today to reserve your spot!
