In 2020, there was a drop in microcystin in the 14 local lakes we sample. Eight lakes had none detected at all!
Kosciusko County is part of the Glacial Lakes region of Indiana. Most of our lakes are natural lakes that were formed by glaciers!
We collaborate with dozens of organizations, both local and statewide, to understand and protect the lakes in Kosciusko County.
